Rafael Maimon - (Tel Aviv) a multi-disciplinary artist who was born in Israel in 1948.
Studied at the Avni Institute of Art and Design, was a student of Ezekiel Streichman, Avshalom Okashi and was deeply influenced by the modern painting techniques of the painter Jacob Wexler. Maimon served as an instructor of Art at the Ministry of Education and Culture and managed the art mobility of non-formal education in the South district. He taught painting and ran several art seminars for teachers. Over the last two decades, Maimon was the owner of "Jack Robinson Ltd", a company specializing in building sets and décor designs for TV programs, TV studio, plays as well as commercials. Among his occupations, he published illustrated books and photo albums. His album "Jerusalem 3000", a record listings album in Jerusalem, was a personal gift from the Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin who signed his name on the cover of the album.
Maimon’s works are various; he uses different techniques, in which the main themes of his recent works have been political and philosophical.
